Approach

When I teach, it’s not about forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. I listen first — to what you’re into, how you play, and what inspires you. From there, we’ll build the skills you need to play the music you love. The focus is always on using technique to create something musical and meaningful. Wherever you’re starting, I’m here to help you level up.

I’ve played and taught across a wide range of genres, including rock, jazz, R&B, gospel, hip-hop, electronic, psych, and mixed meter. Whatever you’re drawn to I’ll help you explore the styles you love while expanding your versatility as a drummer. No matter the genre, we’ll find your groove and make it your own.
